After acting together in several movies including, the iconic Sholay, Dharmendra and Hema Malini tied the knot with each other, over four decades ago. The then ‘it’ couple of Bollywood recently completed 43 years of a blissful life together and their daughters couldn’t be happier about it. Actress-daughter Esha Deol took to social media to share a heartfelt note on their parents’ wedding anniversary along with a frame-worthy family picture, to celebrate this special occasion. On the other hand, the ‘Dream Girl’ herself shared some amazing throwback memories with her husband.

Hema Malini took to Twitter to share a series of photos of her and Dharmendra, that traces their journey from their film days together, saying, “I personally thank all those who have wished us on our wedding anniversary today. It has been a wonderful journey spanning 43years of togetherness and with all your good wishes, will continue to be a smooth journey in tandem… Few photos over the years.”

Sharing a photo of the family featuring Hema Malini, Dharmendra, their daughters Ahana and Esha Deol, the actress said, “Happy wedding anniversary to my darling papa & mamma… Stay blessed ,happy, healthy & together forever”. Followed by the wish shared by the actress, many of the industry insiders like KKBKKJ actor Vijendra Singh, actress Sheeba, and actor Sanjay Kapoor dropped comments on the post.
Dharmendra was earlier married to Parkash Kaur and have two sons with her –Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. On the other hand, the actor tied the knot with Hema Malini in 1980. The couple have two children Ahana Deol and Esha Deol, who are both married to Indian entrepreneurs. While Ahana has stayed away from films, Sunny, Bobby, and Esha are busy with their Bollywood career. On the work front, Dharmendra and Hema Malini have acted in some of the biggest blockbusters like Seeta Aur Geeta and Dream Girl.
