Karan Johar fans couldn’t be more excited to see the filmmaker returning with his directorial. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. While the film was put on hold for some time owing to Alia’s pregnancy, the film is back on track. In fact, the team was recently shooting in Kashmir and now the filmmaker shared a recent update on it asserting that they have completed a successful schedule.

Karan Johar took to Instagram to share a video of him from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The filmmaker was seen dressed to the t in autumn wear as he posed amidst the snow-capped hills of the picturesque valley. In fact, along with the video he also added the background music of ‘Yeh Haseen Vaadiyaan’ from the film Roja which was interestingly had similar locales. Further he captioned the video saying, “Meri performance pe mat jao,meri feelings ko samjho.. Bidding farewell to beautiful Kashmir! <3 This is Karan Johar signing off, with camera person @shaunagautam !” The video received a lot of love from his friends and fans as some of them even expressed their excitement about the film.
Readers would be aware that Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was expected to release in April this year. But the release date shifted further after the makers decided to reschedule the finishing portions as well as the shoot of a song after Alia Bhatt’s delivery. While they came together as a couple in Gully Boy, fans will get to witness the chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt even more in this upcoming romantic comedy. The film is slated to release on July 28, 2023.
