Salman Khan’s EID 2023 release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is looking to close its advance booking with a decent response for a Pre-Eid period. According to trending, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will end up selling approximately 57,000 tickets in the three chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis – defeating films like Bholaa (36,000), Ram Setu (39,000), Samrat Prithviraj (41,000) and Shamshera (46,000).

The film’s target audience is the masses and hence, comparison with these massy films is ideal. The advances are approx. 35% better than Samrat Prithviraj, which means in absolute terms, it indicates a start of approx. Rs. 14.00 crores. However, Salman Khan is the biggest crowd-puller in mass belts and hence, should get better walk-ins than the Akshay Kumar film, leading to a start in the Rs. 15 crore mark.

The single screens have better advances than multiplexes, in fact, its 2x of other mass films like Bholaa, Samrat Prithviraj, and Shamshera, which is primarily because of Salman Khan. Bholaa was a holiday release, and this is a pre-Eid release, hence, despite recording almost 70% lower advance, the Ajay Devgn film scored a double-digit opening.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is looking at Rs. 15 crore day one and then will target to touch Rs. 30 crore on Saturday and Sunday reaping the benefit of EID festival. The trend from thereon will be decided by audience word of mouth.
