Salman Khan is back with his Eid 2023 entertainer, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and the film has opened below conservative expectations at the box office in India. According to early estimates, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is flirting with the Rs. 15 crore mark at the box office in India with collections expected to be in the range of Rs. 13.75 to 15.00 crores.
The mass belts have shown a good trend; however, the multiplexes have not been up to the mark. It has got to do with the look and feel of the film which seemed dated, but the hope is on audience word of mouth to help the film in the long run. The business will jump on Saturday and Sunday due to the Eid factor and result in what could be termed a fair opening weekend.
The business of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan should have been Rs. 17 to 18 crores at the worst on an ideal non-holiday period, but the pre-Eid factor has hampered its prospects. All the eyes are now on the big Eid day, as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is expected to show a jump in the range of 75 to 100 percent and put up a strong total.
This opening can be termed fair for a film of this genre in today’s time but now it’s crucial to hold well going forward.
