Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan takes a slow start at the box office on Friday (1st Day) Morning shows as early trends are coming in. Despite the slow start opening is decent considering it is Pre-Eid and the film is released in more than 4000 screens. The film can easily put up a decent first day score with decent to good growth through the day.
KBKJ opens with 15% occupancy in the morning shows of Day 1. The opening is decent when we consider that the film is released post-pandemic and in the pre-Eid period. However, when we consider the Salman Khan star factor than opening should have been better. Ideally, a 20%+ opening would have been a good start.
Still, it is working Friday and it is the Pre-Eid period. Hence, even a 15% opening is not that bad, if the film gathers good momentum from here on. As the weekend is approaching we should expect better occupancy in the evening and night shows. However, the majority of Muslim audiences will refrain from watching this film in theaters today. Hence, the growth may not be huge.
KKBKKJ needs to touch or go past the 15 cr NBOC mark on Day 1. Anything above will be good to a very good start at the box office. If the film manages to go close to the 20 cr nett mark then it will be a fantastic start to its box office campaign. Anything below the 15 cr nett mark will be just an ok to decent opening. If the film fails to touch the double-digit mark then it will be a shocking start to its box office campaign. We will have a pretty clear idea by the end of the day.
