Legendary actor from Kerala Mohanlal is all set to grace the silver screen with his upcoming film Malaikottai Vaaliban. The film is helmed by renowned filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that the makers of the forthcoming film haven’t revealed anything about the film’s genre or its story yet. Ever since the project was announced, a section of fans was eagerly waiting for the film. Well, on Friday, April 14, the actor treated fans with the first poster of his upcoming flick. The rough translation of the film’s title is “a young man of Malaikottai”.

With its gritty setting, intense atmosphere, and powerful imagery, the poster promises a thrilling and unforgettable cinematic experience. The poster features Mohanlal sporting an intense look, with a rugged and weathered appearance. The most striking element of the poster, however, is the huge moon positioned just behind Mohanlal’s head. The moon appears to be full, casting a mysterious glow over the scene and adding to the sense of foreboding and danger.

Looking at the poster, it is still unclear whether Malaikottai Vaaliban is a period film or a war drama, but the setting and atmosphere suggest that it could be either. Fans are eagerly awaiting more information about the film, including its storyline and release date. Sharing the first-look poster, Mohanlal tweeted, “And now, the wait has a face! For the unversed, the shoot of Malaikottai Vaaliban started in January this year in Rajasthan. Reportedly, it is yet to be completed. It is produced by Shibu Baby John under the banner of John Mary Creative, Kochumon under the banner of Century Films and Anoop of Max Lab.
