Renowned actor Manoj Bajpayee, who is known for his acting prowess, is also the doting husband of co-actress Shabana Raza, who has quit the Bollywood industry. While Shabana has given some memorable performances in films like Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet with Ajay Devgn and Fiza with Hrithik Roshan, she is currently away from the media glare. In an interview with Barka Dutt on Mojo Story, Manoj Bajpayee revealed that his marriage with Shabana Raza is beyond religion and that they both peacefully follow, respect, and admire each other’s faiths. “My marriage with Shabana, more than religion, is about the values that we share. And those values we don’t talk about. These are unsaid. Tomorrow, if one of us changes our values, our marriage wouldn’t last,” he said.

Furthermore, the actor also maintained about how despite belonging to a feudal Brahmin family, they never raised any objection or posed a challenge when he married Raza. In the same breath, the Satya actor also added that people are often afraid of his temper and rarely confront him about such sensitive topics. “Even if they would’ve talked about the religion of my wife, they could never have the strength or the courage to speak to me on my face. Because they know that I don’t mince my words, I’m very hard, when it comes to anyone talking like that. I come very, very hard. I’m a tough guy then… Doston ke beech bhi agar aisi galat baat karte hain, jo karni nahi chahiye, (even with friends I wouldn’t speak something so wrong.. could never do something like that) I don’t take it nicely… People still talk about my temper,” he added.
