Besides fashion critics showering praises on the superstar’s look for the Academy Awards, Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya Jackson also listed Deepika’s look as one of her favourites from the awards along with Lady Gaga, Cara Delevingne and Angela Bassett on her social media.
For the unversed, DP was one of the presenters at Hollywood’s biggest award night this year. She opted for a classic black Louis Vuitton outfit. It featured an off-the-shoulder neckline with a plunging design, drapings on the arms, full-length sleeves with attached Opera gloves, a fitted bust, corseted bodice, cinched torso, figure-hugging fitting, and a mermaid-style pleated skirt grazing the floor. She accessorised the black ballgown with a Cartier neckpiece.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the 37-year-old actress was last seen in Pathaan, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The Siddharth Anand directorial went on to make several box-office records. She is currently gearing up for Project K along with Prabhas and Fighter with Hrithik Roshan among other projects in the pipeline.
