South Korean female pop band TWICE will be debuting their first subunit called MISAMO with three members Mina, Sana, and Momo. As noted by Korean tabloid Soompi, TWICE’s official Japanese social media channels have been posting opening trailer photos and videos of Mina, Sana, and Momo.

The subunit consists of the three Japanese members from TWICE, Mina, Sana and Momo. The name MiSaMo originated from the first two letters of these members’ names.

On January 25, the Japanese members together released ‘Bouquet’ as a part of TV television series Liaison –Children’s Heart Clinic’s soundtrack. The song went on to top Japan’s Line Music daily and weekly charts.
Speaking of TWICE, the band released its English single, ‘Moonlight Sunrise’ on January 20, which ranked at No. 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The group is now gearing up for the release of its new EP ‘Ready To Be’ on March 10.
