Mithun Chakraborty, an actor and politician, was recently taken to a Bengaluru hospital. Mahaakshay Chakraborty, also known as Mimoh, his son, told the Disco Dancer is now alright.
Chakraborty got admitted to the hospital after complaining of a fever and stomach ache. His son added that the actor was suffering from kidney stones, but that he is now ‘fit and fine and at home.’
After a photo of Mithun was taken and circulated while he was resting in a hospital bed, reports about his health gathered traction. Dr Anupam Hazra, the BJP’s National Secretary, posted the photo with the remark, “I wish you a speedy recovery Mithun Da) (sic).”
Meanwhile, the veteran actor was recently seen co-judging the reality show Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan alongside Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar. In addition, he appeared in the commercially successful film The Kashmir Files alongside Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi.
Aside from the intense plot, the film got praised for the flawless performances of the ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni, and others.
Mithun Chakraborty, who played IAS Brahma Dutt, was the highest-paid actor in the film, earning Rs 1.50 crore for the part. With the online series, Bestseller, he made his OTT debut.
Mimoh, the son of Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali, on the other hand, followed in his parents’ footsteps and entered the film industry. In 2008, he made his feature debut with Jimmy, which was followed by Haunted – 3D and Loot. The actor will appear in the film Jogira Sara Ra Ra alongside Nawazuddin Siddique and Neha Sharma.
