Reborn Rich actress Park Ji Hyun is currently in talks to star as female lead alongside Ahn Bo Hyun in new romance drama Gold Spoon (literal title) at SBS.

“Park Ji Hyun is positively reviewing the offer to star in ‘Gold Spoon,’” a source from Park Ji Hyun’s agency shared following the reports of her casting on February 7. If she accepts the offer, the drama will reunite her with her Yumi’s Cells co-star Ahn Bo Hyun.
According to Korean tabloid Soompi, Gold Spoon is a drama that depicts the growth and romance story of an immature third generation chaebol becoming a detective. The drama will be penned by scriptwriter Kim Ba Da (My Name) and helmed by Kim Jae Hong.
As the report shares, Park Ji Hyun has been offered the role of workaholic Lee Kang Hyun who’s also a veteran detective. She is passionate, has a strong sense of responsibility and takes pride in being a police officer.
Meanwhile, earlier in January, Ahn Bo Hyun’s casting was also confirmed by a source from his agency who stated, “Ahn Bo Hyun is confirmed to star in ‘Golden Spoon,’ and he is gearing up for filming.”
Gold Spoon is reported to begin production in May. The drama is expected to air in the second half of 2023.
