The much talked about and keenly anticipated release Pathaan hit screens last week on January 25. Since then, the Siddharth Anand-directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer has been doing brisk business at the box office. Released across 8000 screens globally the film has been seeing an unprecedented response from the audience. In fact, after taking a thunderous start in both the domestic and international markets, Pathaan which sees Shah Rukh Khan return to the big screens after over four years has been seeing exponential growth in collections each day. Now after five days of its release, Pathaan has managed to cross the Rs. 500 cr mark at the worldwide box office.
Collecting a staggering Rs. 545.44 cr at the worldwide box office Pathaan, which released across 5500 screens in India, saw Rs. 338.66 cr gross coming in while in the overseas market the film, which hit 2500 screens drew in a further Rs. 206.78 cr. With this, Pathaan has emerged as Shah Rukh Khan’s all-time highest worldwide grosser. When compared to the actor’s previous releases, the five-day collection of Pathaan has far overshadowed his previous releases like Chennai Express, which collected Rs. 424.54 cr, Happy New Year which collected Rs. 383.1 cr, Dilwale which collected Rs. 376.85 cr, and Raees which collected Rs. 281.44 cr amongst others.

Currently, Pathaan continues its box office march in both the domestic and overseas markets. In fact, after a money-spinning opening weekend, which saw over Rs. 500 cr coming in the business of the film has managed to hold strong on its first Monday as well. As per trade predictions, though Pathaan has seen a slight decline in footfalls, as compared to conventional releases the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has still managed to see record-breaking bookings. Given this fact, trade predictions claim that the business of Pathaan will continue to see an increase well into its first week. As of now, advance estimates state that Pathaan is likely to see a further Rs. 90 cr coming in on its first Monday at the worldwide box office.
