Pathaan Extended First Week Box Office Collection, It’s HISTORIC

Pathaan had a historic and record-breaking extended first weekend at the box office. The film was simply on another level in the extended first weekend and after that showed solid trending with strong collections through the weekdays.

Pathan added 15.5 cr NBOC on Day 9 (2nd Thursday) at the box office. The drop from Day 8 is around 15% which is a superb hold. Thus, the film’s total collection at the end of nine days stands at a staggering 364 cr NBOC.

Pathaan might see some drop on the 2nd Friday (10th day) which is pretty usual considering it is a normal working day. But the film will again strike back big on the 2nd Saturday (11th day) and 2nd Sunday (12th day).

In most general cases a drop of 30-40% is touted as good for Friday. But here it doesn’t matter whether the drop is 10% or 50% as the film has already done historic business and it is all about bonuses now. However, if the film wants to go close to 500 cr NBOC and challenge Baahubali 2 Hindi box office record then the drop on Friday should be absolutely minimal. A 10-15% drop is ok. Anything more means 500 cr NBOC will be an uphill task ahead.
