Despite the second installment opening lower than the first part, the collections are historic. The film collected 24 cr nett from all languages all India. Out of that around 2 cr nett approx has come from the Hindi version.
Film’s Hindi version is expected to see growth as this has been the trend for many years now. It will be interesting to see how the film performs in Tamil Nadu. The film collected in excess of 14 cr NBOC from Tamil Nadu itself. It will be even more challenging to maintain these standards from the second day onwards. However, the film is receiving positive feedback from all corners and there is a good possibility of a historic day 2 now. The opening suggests PS2 is on track to emerge as a Smash Hit unless there is a big drop happening on Saturday.
