Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves’ The Elephant Whisperers brought home Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film at the 95^th Academy Awards earlier this month. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken to his official Twitter account to celebrate the history-making accolades. Now, he met the team of the documentary to congratulate them on their victory.

Congratulating the team of The Elephant Whisperers, the official Twitter account of PM Modi shared photos with Guneet Monga and Kartiki as they held their trophies. “The cinematic brilliance and success of ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ has drawn global attention as well as acclaim. Today, I had the opportunity to meet the brilliant team associated with it. They have made India very proud,” Modi said in a tweet.
