Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently was seen promoting her recent release Love Again and the much-awaited spy thriller Citadel, has taken time off from work commitments for a short India trip. While reports have been abuzz with the engagement rumours of her cousin and co-actress Parineeti Chopra and her politician beau Raghav Chadha, PC has arrived in New Delhi, minus Nick Jonas, further confirming the reports about the impending function.

If reports are to be believed, after a small roka ceremony, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have held an extensive engagement ceremony in the capital on May 13. Earlier on Saturday, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was spotted at the New Delhi airport and while she didn’t pause to answer the questions of paparazzi, it surely added fuel to the rumours about the engagement. However, the actress arrived minus her husband Nick Jonas, who is busy with his work commitments of promoting his new album and her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
A day ago, we had reported that as per media speculations, the couple will be holding a traditional Punjabi function followed by a ring ceremony, which will be attended by family and close friends. Reportedly, the guestlist of 150 people is also expected to have some industry insiders.
In fact, reports also suggest the designers the couple has locked in for their engagement. While Raghav Chadha is expected to wear a Pawan Sachdev ensemble, Parineeti Chopra will be seen in a Manish Malhotra outfit. In fact, the celebrated fashion designer was also snapped in the capital earlier today but he too refrained from giving out any details to the paparazzi.
Others in the guestlist also include Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other members of AAM Aadmi Party since Raghav Chadha is a member of the AAP. As for the marriage ceremony, reports have it that Raghav and Parineeti will be tying the knot by the end of October this year.
