With Pathaan creating box office madness, Shah Rukh Khan remains unstoppable. Starring SRK along with Deepika Padukone – John Abraham, the film has collected Rs. 127.50 crores in India in simply two days. Gauri Khan, the wife of Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer, hosted a special screening of Pathaan at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai and invited many of her close friends and celebrities. At the screening, even Punjabi popstar AP Dhillon was in attendance.

The Canadian-Indian singer, popularly known for his songs like ‘Summer High’, ‘Excuses’, ‘Brown Munde’, is currently in India as he is set to perform at the first Asia edition of Lollapalooza in Mumbai. He was seen hanging out with Gauri Khan, Sussanne Khan, Malaika Arora, and Bhavana Pandey among others. Several celebrities took to social media to share the photos.
Bhavana Pandey shared a few photos featuring Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Sussanne Khan, Rani Mukerji, Vaibhav Merchant, and Chunky Pandey. “A night full of love ♥and celebration ! ♥ Absolutely loved PATHAAN !!!!! Outstanding !!!!! Congratulations ♥♥ #blockbuster,” she captioned the post.
Pathaan is helmed by Siddharth Anand of War fame and is currently running in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
Meanwhile, AP Dhillon, who recently launched his new album ‘Two Hearts Never Break The Same’, spread smiles for miles for young, underprivileged Basketball players in India in partnership with BookASmile, the charity initiative of BookMyShow, India’s leading entertainment destination. Speaking about the initiative with BookASmile, AP Dhillon said, “For me personally, Basketball has always been my favourite sport to watch and play. It was my dream to one day, become a professional basketball player. Although my life has taken a different path, I have been looking for a way to give back to the community I grew up in, to help provide resources for the next generation to chase their dreams. Today’s Basketball match with these children was extremely fulfilling and gave me a window into how, together BookASmile and I, can create development and growth opportunities for the children of Punjab. I look forward to helping build a basketball court together, in my hometown as the first step towards this mission.”
They recently joined hands to support the construction of a Basketball court in the singer’s home state of Punjab to further sports development for the underprivileged in the state. To kick-start this joint initiative, BookASmile organised a friendly Basketball match between AP Dhillon and underprivileged children training in the sport, with its partner NGO Hi5 Youth Foundation at a BookASmile-constructed court at one of the BMC Schools in Mumbai.
