The 2009 movie 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi, became a classic. The film was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Five Point Someone: What Not to Do at IIT’ and was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The production company run by Vindu Vindo Chopra, which funded the film, had released a vintage clip showing R Madhavan trying out for the role of Farhan. The actor recently took to Twitter and responded to it.

Earlier Bollywood Hungama had posted the video on its official social media account. Sharing the video, the page captioned, “This video is such a gem! Nobody could play Farhan Qureshi in 3 Idiots better than R Madhavan. This audition just confirms that.”
Responding to the video, Madhavan said, “Heyyy .. too kind thank you.. but I insist on auditioning for every role I do.. because then I am not on test on the first day of shoot (grinning face with smiling eyes, grinning face with star eyes and folded hands emojis). Auditioning is very very important for many reasons (hug and red heart emojis).”
Fans showered their love and appreciated the actor in the comments section. A user commented, “One of the best actor of our era,” while another wrote, “Absolutely! Coming to the professional front, Madhavan was last seen in Dhokha followed by Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He, reportedly, will be next seen in the Akshay Kumar starrer film. It is a biopic on C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who also served as the President of the Indian National Congress in 1897. Besides these, he will be headlining The Railway Men, an OTT project backed by Yash Raj Films.
