After giving a box office hit in the form of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, getting married and embracing fatherhood in 2022, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to be back on the big screen this year with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The promotions of his upcoming rom-com are in full swing. Recently, the female lead of the film, Shraddha Kapoor visited a college in Pune on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. And now, Ranbir also participated in the promotion activity. However, his experience may not be sweet and smooth as a fan managed to breach security to hug the actor.

For the unversed, Ranbir hosted a concert in Delhi as a promotional activity for TJMM. During the same, he met with a shocking encounter with a fan. In a video, floating online, a fan can be seen breaching security while Ranbir was interacting with fans. Amid that, a female fan came out of nowhere and jumped on the stage. Later, she rushed to Ranbir and hugged him tight from behind. The actor, who was surprised by the act, quickly regained his grip and hugged his fan back.
The guards present on the stage came forward to take the fan away. Meanwhile, Ranbir continued to hug her and swayed with her to the music before letting her go. While a section of the netizens showered love on the actor for hugging his fan back, another section found the fan’s action inappropriate.
Coming back to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, the Luv Ranjan directorial is slated to release on Holi, March 8. He will be sharing the screen space with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. Besides Ranbir and Shraddha, it will also star Dimple Kapadia. Meanwhile, comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi and producer Boney Kapoor will be making their acting debut with this film.
