Raveena Tandon was recently seen attending the prestigious Padma awards in Delhi where she interacted with many celebrities from different walks of life. She took to Instagram to share the iconic moment of her not only receiving the Padma Shri award but also a few moments of meeting a few members from the film industry including RRR director S.S. Rajamouli who too received the honor along with music composer M.M. Keeravani.

For the uninitiated, Raveena Tandon too has entered the world of Pan India films with KGF Chapter 2 which featured her in a pivotal grey-shaded role. The actress seems to have won hearts with this Prashanth Neel film that went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Sharing photos from this iconic day of her life, Raveena took to Instagram to post a series of them along with a caption that read, “A day of love and celebrations #padmashri #23”. In the photos, the actress is not only seen posing with the Oscar winning film RRR’s filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli along with photos of her receiving the award.
She also posted a video clip of her winning the award from the hands of our honorable President Draupadi Murmu. She expressed her gratitude in the caption saying, “Thankyou all for the love and honour. Thankyou for your blessings papa, mami and mom <3 #padmashri”.
Fans of the 90s would be aware that Raveena Tandon was considered to be one of the most popular actresses of the generation with her being known for commercial entertainers like Mohra, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Dilwale, Laadla, among others whereas the actress is also known for her power packed performance in films like Shool, Satta, Daman, among others. Raveena Tandon also plays the leading lady along with Karisma Kapoor in the cult entertainer Andaz Apna Apna, where she is paired opposite Aamir Khan, co-starring Salman Khan.
