Earlier today, we had reported that Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who are gearing up for Citadel India, attended the premiere of the American version of the series in London. With Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead, the Amazon Prime Video show revolves around the life of spies associated with the Citadel organization. The London premiere was also attended by some of the big names from the Hollywood industry and that’s when Samantha met the popular American star Stanley Tucci.

Being a part of some of the most popular films like Captain Amerrica: The First Avenger, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Devil Wears Prada, Spotlight, Supernova, among others, Stanley Tucci has earned five Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his brilliant performances in films. It seems that Samantha Ruth Prabhu couldn’t stop from being a fangirl of the American star and even clicked a photo with him. She posted it on her Instagram story along with an apt caption saying, ‘Fangirling’ as she was all smiles for the lenses.
On the other hand, Samantha also shared several glimpses from her London trip including a photo of the entire team ‘huddling’ before the premiere and a few moments with co-star Varun Dhawan, producers Raj and Krishna D K, among others on her social media.
For the unversed, Citadel explores the journey of spies and it will include a spin off version in almost every country including India. The lead roles in this version will be reprised by Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. As for the Citadel American version, it will release on Amazon Prime Video on April 28. Even before the series hit the web, the makers have also decided to have a second season of the show.
