In the Manoj Bajpayee-starring web series The Family Man 2, Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a remarkable debut. She dazzled everyone in her compelling portrayal of the terrorist Raaji. She had gone through rigorous training in order to develop her character. Samantha has been fighting myositis, an autoimmune disease, and Manoj has told her to be gentle with herself.

Manoj recently admitted in an interview that watching Samantha work while they were filming their web series, Family Man in 2021, got him scared. A Twitter user posted an interview where Manoj Bajpayee can be seen conveying a message for his The Family Man co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He said, “Go easy on yourself. She is very hardworking…But the way physically jis tarike se woh Family Man kaam karte huye dekha tha, it scared me, ki kitna sata rahi hai apne aap ko yeh (The way I saw her working physically in Family Man, it scared me, how much pain she is giving herself).” 

Samantha Ruth Prabhu responded to Manoj Bajpayee’s video on Twitter by writing, “will try sir @BajpayeeManoj.” 

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK developed the spy drama series The Family Man for Prime Video. Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary are also in the series. 

As the series’ major adversary, Samantha debuted in the second season of the show. Season one aired in 2019; season two debuted in 2021. The third season’s air dates have not yet been released. 

On the work front, Manoj is currently preoccupied with the Gulmohar promotions for his forthcoming movie. In addition to Sharmila Tagore, Amol Palekar, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth, and Utsavi Jha, it is directed by Rahul Chittella. 

On the other side, Samantha is preparing for the release of her movie Shaakuntalam. She along with director C Prem Kumar recently paid a visit to Tamil Nadu’s Palani Murugan temple.
