Just a few hours earlier we had reported that well-known actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik bid adieu after being admitted to a hospital in Gurgaon. Having worked with many prominent names in the Bollywood industry, Kaushik was best known for his role as Calendar in the Anil Kapoor film Mr. India. His upcoming film Emergency with Kangana Ranaut is still in the pipeline, in which he is expected to play a pivotal role. Kaushik was also a popular director who made films like Mr. Bechara, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, and Tere Naam.

Followed by his demise, many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to express their condolences. While his close friend and actor Anupam Kher was the first to break the news on social media, it was followed by several messages as many of them mourned the demise of this popular celebrity.
