Zee TV’s singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which has been ruling the hearts of audiences for almost 3 decades, have been winning hearts with their talented singing talents. Now introducing young singers, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is currently in the ninth season and the new panel of judges Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan will be guiding the young singing sensation along with the host Bharti Singh. This weekend will see something special as the dream girl of Bollywood, Seeta Aur Geeta actress Hema Malini will be seen gracing the special episode – ‘Hema Malini- Dream of Heros’.

While all the contestants gave it their best, it was the contestants Rafa and Prajyot’s performance to the songs ‘Kal Ki Haseen Mulaqat Ke Liye’ and ‘O Saathi Chal’ that left everyone amazed. Right after their performance, veteran actress Hema Malini revealed that her iconic film Seeta Aur Geeta has completed 50 years. It was then that host Bharti requested Hema Malini to come on stage and recreate a scene from the film with her to celebrate the golden jubilee of the movie.
They went on to recreate the scene where Kaushalya (Manorama) is asking Geeta (Hema) to make tea for her and do household chores assuming she is Seeta and then Geeta takes stand for her and turns the table when it comes to holding the power in the house forever. Bharti Singh was super excited after sharing screen time with Hema Malini. Talking about that experience, she shared, “Today my dream has come true to shoot a scene with you.”
‘Hema Malini- Dream of Heros’ is expected to feature stunning performances that also includes a tribute to the veteran actress. The singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, airs from Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm, only on Zee TV!
