Shehzada is the big release of this week and the film has taken a slow start in the morning shows of Day 1 (Friday). Today is a normal working day and hence slow start is acceptable for the morning. But again, it needs to pick up as the day progresses to put up a decent total for the first day.
Shehzada has taken an opening of 10-12% approx on Friday. Ideally, the film should have taken an opening of 20% approx. It means the film has taken a below-par start. But again it can easily recover the ground if it shows a good boost in business in the latter half of the day.
Shehzada has to fight it out with Ant-Man and Pathaan at the box office. Pathaan is at the dying end of its theatrical run and hence, it is not much of a competition. However, Ant-Man is from Marvel and they have a good following in India. Let’s see how the battle progresses through the day.
