Actress Flora Saini, known by her screen name, Asha Saini is a known face in Bollywood, who has also worked in a few Kannada and Telugu films. The actress, who made her acting debut in 1999, is seen in films like Begum Jaan, Stree and a few others films. While Flora was riding high on her professional life, her personal life was nothing less than a roller coaster ride.
The stunning actress has been a victim of domestic violence and suffered sexual violence at the hands of producer, Gaurang Doshi. Flora, who was in a serious relationship with Gaurang talked about the same for the first time in 2018. And now, the actress took to her IG handle and reposted her story shared by Humans of Bombay.

Flora Saini on her abusive relationship
In the video, Flora opened up about her abusive relationship, which lasted for 14 months. Revealing the same, the actress stated that at the age of 20, she was at the peak of her career, where she acted in 10 films and did a couple of modelling assignments. Recalling her traumatic and abusive relationship, Flora shared:
“I was in love, he was a famous producer. But soon things changed….he turned abusive, he’s box my face and punch my private parts. He took my phone and forced me to quit work. For 14 months, he didn’t let me talk to anyone. Until one evening he punched me in the stomach, and I ran away.”
Flora Saini on getting back to life
In the same interview, Flora also stated that her brutal past was scary and took a toll on her. Stating how it took her months to recover, Flora shared:
“I began living with mom and dad. It took me months to recover. Slowly, I got back to the thing I liked the most-acting! It took time but I’m happy today, I’ve even found love.”

It was during the 2018 MeToo movement when Flora Saini talked about her toxic relationship for the first time. In an interview with News18, Flora mentioned that she was in a live-in relationship with Gaurang despite her parents’ disapproval. Flora recalled how Gaurang had cut all her ties with her family and started beating her suddenly without any reason. In the same interview, Flora revealed that one day, the producer was on the verge of killing her and at that moment, she could not think of anything and ran out of his home to save her life.
On the work front, Flora was last seen in the film, Bhediya!
