Sushmita Sen suffered cardiac arrest after she landed in Jaipur for Aarya 3; reveals co-star Vikas Kumar : Bollywood News

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is truly an epitome of beauty and strength. The actress suffered a cardiac arrest last month and yet came back even stronger. The actress had said in her Instagram post that she had undergone an angioplasty at a hospital. Now, her Aarya co-star Vikas Kumar reveals that Sushmita got heart attack after she landed Jaipur.

After Sushmita Sen had a heart attack earlier this year, production on the third season of the Disney+ Hotstar series Aarya was put on hold. According to actor Vikas Kumar, who portrays ACP Khan in the series, revealed that the crew would was likely to start filming again in Jaipur very soon. Sushmita had a heart attack after arriving in Jaipur, according to Vikas.

Vikas told News18, “A major chunk of season 3 is done. The show is Rajasthan based. There are some outside scenes that we have to shoot in Jaipur. We landed there, but unfortunately, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack. We didn’t know at first about it. Ultimately in a couple of days, we got to know, as she revealed it to the world.”

He further added, “In the beginning, even she didn’t know what happened. Tests were done and all. She came to know about it later and then she told the world. That’s how we got to know. We just did one day of shoot and then we realised that we can’t proceed. By then, it was obvious that was not just a day or two affair, but we need to stop. So we stopped for a bit.”

On the professional front, Sushmita was last seen in the second instalment of Disney+ Hotstar’s popular web series Aarya. The actress has almost finished working on the third season as mentioned above. Besides this web show, she has another web series in her kitty, titled Taali. Sen will be seen essaying the transgender activist Gauri Sawant in an upcoming show. The actress made the official announcement of the same in October last year. The biopic will be created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, helmed by National award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar & Afeefa Nadiadwala.
