The Kerala Story posted an excellent score on opening Friday at the box office. The film started well in the morning shows and continued its solid run through the day. A superb first day means the film is all set to emerge as a HIT unless there is a big drop seen on Saturday.
TKS collected 8 cr nett approx on Day 1. The film registered 35% occupancy for the first day on 1600-1700 screens.
Predicting lifetime collection is very difficult at this moment. 1st Monday collection will give us a clear idea. It is safe to say that film will easily go past the 50 cr nett mark in India with a decent trend from here on. If trending is good then the film can go anywhere. Even a 100 cr nett mark will not be safe. It can go beyond that also. Again all depends on how the film lands on the 1st Monday.
