The much-talked-about Netflix docu-series The Romantics, a tribute to the legacy of Yash Chopra and Yash Raj Films, and its cultural impact on India and Indians for the past 50 years, was released on Valentine’s Day this year. The National over-pouring of love for Yash Chopra and YRF was evident as The Romantics became the Number 1 trending title on Netflix within 48 hours of its drop. Besides the audience, many Bollywood stars also gave a shout-out to the Netflix docu-series, and joining the bandwagon, Arjun Kapoor also dedicated a special post to The Romantics.

On Sunday, Arjun Kapoor took to his social media handle and shared a video of himself, featuring his TV screen in the background. “The Romantics on @netflix_in is the best thing to binge on right now if you are a lover of Hindi cinema! I feel proud being a small part of @yrf, the studio that helped me take my first steps into the film industry,” he wrote in the caption.
The 37-year-old actor further added, “The sheer conviction that #AdityaChopra has in making movies for the big screen is so admirable to witness as an actor! This show is just a gentle reminder that there’s so much more to learn from him. It’s amazing to see how he works tirelessly to shape the film industry!” He signed off by writing, “Yash ji we miss you and your movies – your loss is irreplaceable. We will make sure that your simplicity, sensitivity and cinema live on forever. What an endearing dose of nostalgia #TheRomantics is! It tells all of us why we love Hindi cinema!”
Talking about the series, it features 35 leading personalities from the film industry, who have closely worked with YRF throughout its 50-year glorious existence. On top of everything, the reclusive head of the iconic Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra, was also coaxed into recording his first on-camera interview for The Romantics. His insights about YRF and the Hindi film industry in this docu-series is a huge highlight for the film fraternity, cinephiles and Hindi cinema audience at large.
