It looks like ‘Besharam Rang’ paved the way for a good year for original Bollywood music. After several years of remixed tracks and Hindi iterations of Punjabi songs, we finally have a 2000s-style romantic dance track with fresh beats. Upbeat and modern, it’s sure to become an earworm, mark our words!
We’re getting ‘Tamasha’ & ‘Rockstar’ vibes from ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’

The video of this track features several scenes which remind us of Ranbir’s previous songs, particularly ‘Safarnama’ and ‘Matargashti’ from Tamasha, and ‘Hawa Hawa’ from Rockstar. Perhaps it was the fact all of these look like they’ve been shot in quaint European lanes and town squares that did it!
The clip of Ranbir and Shraddha dancing together is a lot like the scene where Ranbir and Deepika Padukone danced together in ‘Matargashti’. The glimpses of them driving on cliff-side roads with the top down in a convertible is reminding us of a similar scene from ‘Safarnama’.

Some shots remind us of ‘Aahista Aahista’, ‘Khuda Jaane’ & ‘Balam Pichkari’
This video was like an ode to all of Ranbir’s older song videos. While the overall film trailer itself reminded us of Bachna Ae Haseeno, this song also seems to be full of elements from that film’s videos. The part where Ranbir and Shraddha are embracing each other in the ocean is almost exactly like Ranbir and Deepika’s clip from the unforgettable ‘Khuda Jaane’.

The scene where Ranbir and Shraddha are running down a lane with people throwing coloured powder in the background is straight out of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’s ‘Balam Pichkari’.

What the film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is all about
This film is about a man, played by Ranbir, who manipulates women into breaking up with him till he finds a woman he actually loves. The twist? She wants to break up with him and is trying to manipulate him into doing it so he ends up looking like the bad guy.
Releasing on March 8, 2023, it’ll be interesting to see how this film turns out!
