Avatar 2 is simply rocking at the box office in the second weekend as the film has shown extraordinary growth on 2nd Saturday (Day 9). The film has reported a jump of 70% approx from 2nd Friday. This is simply out of this world as 2nd Friday business was already at a high level.
Avatar: The Way Of Water has collected 20.75 crore nett approx on day 9. Thus, the film’s total business currently stands at 224.75 crore nett approx. With Christmas falling on Sunday there is a big possibility of the film touching the 250 crore nett mark by the end of the 2nd Sunday itself.
Avatar 2 is now certain to go past the 300 crore nett in India. Christmas and New Year period is started from today onwards and we should see a solid trend in the next few days. As for lifetime business in India, it is still too early to make any prediction. But looking at the current trend film is heading towards 325-350 crore nett finish. If the film sustains well post New Year period also then anything is possible.
