Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has taken a slow start on Wednesday (1st Day) Morning shows as early samples are coming in. Slow start may be mainly due to the Holi festival and hence there is a possibility of the film growing big from evening onwards. Hence, it is not much of a concern and the real trend will only be known in the latter half of the day.
TJMM has opened to 10-12% opening in the morning shows of day 1. A majority of shows in many places will start post-afternoon only as cinema halls are closed because of Holi. Hence, the sample size is very limited for the morning shows.
TJMM is targeting a double-digit opening at the box office. The film is released on 3800-3900 screens across India and a double-digit start is very much possible with a decent occupancy for day 1. Let’s see how thing unfolds in the second half of the day.
