Unfortunately, vested interests on social media are now giving it a communal colour.

Less than 24 hours after actor Raveena Tandon was accused by a Bandra-based man of assaulting his mother and niece, CCTV footage has emerged on social media possibly suggesting a different narrative.
The video does not show any incriminating or confrontational actions. It depicts a few women in burkhas standing on the side of a road as a car passes by. The car appears to be attempting to enter a premises but then reverses, and a woman steps in front of it. However, there is no indication that the vehicle injured her.
The footage does not reveal the identities of the women or the driver, nor does it confirm whether the car belongs to Raveena Tandon. Beyond Bollywood does not vouch for the video’s authenticity.
Watch the CCTV footage below.
We contacted Senior Police Inspector Mohan Mane at Khar Police Station. Although the officer did not respond, an unnamed colleague picked our call said, “We don’t have much details. Besides, sir (Sr. PI) isn’t available.” The call was then abruptly ended.
Beyond Bollywood attempted to reach Khar police and Raveena Tandon throughout the day without success.
Last night, a video of Tandon allegedly involved in a road rage incident went viral. A Bandra-based man named Mohammed claimed that his mother and niece were assaulted by an inebriated Tandon and her driver.
Unfortunately, this incident is being exploited by vested interests who are quick to give it a communal angle.
We hope to receive an official statement from the police or Tandon soon.
