Recently the second teaser of the new show on Star Plus, Teri Meri Doriyaann hit the tube which features Vijayendra Kumeria as one of the leads. The first teaser was launched a few weeks ago as audiences were getting increasingly curious to know more about the six characters in the show. The show revolves around the families of Brar and Monga and how each of their character’s stories is intertwined with the other.

The makers dropped the second teaser today where the names of these six characters have been revealed. In this teaser, we get introduced to the three Brar brothers and three Monga sisters. The series is expected to be set in a very beautiful location of Punjab as the makers were keen on finding a setting that oozes romance and euphoria.
Vijayendra Kumeria who plays Angad Singh Brar revealed details of the show, saying, “I always try and take up roles which I have never done before. This one for obvious reasons is different. Not only the character but the look of the character is something that I have never donned. The moment I got to know that it was a Sikh guy who is a sharp businessman who loves his family, I got excited and I said yes to it. There is one more reason to take this one up. I want to dedicate this to my late father-in-law who was a Sardar and like a friend to me”.
He also added “Teri Meri Doriyaann is not a run-of-the-mill story with fixed ingredients of a daily soap. It’s more about interpersonal relations among all the characters. I think the story has more relatability compared to the drama quotient that we see on TV. I must add that the look and feel of the show is beautiful”.
Teri Meri Doriyaann is said to be a modern-day fairy tale, a love story with a twist. The show sheds light on the complexities of love. It’s a story of three couples and how their lives get entangled, where viewers are left wondering with the question- who will end up with whom Teri Meri Doriyaann is expected to air on Star Plus very soon and the date is yet to be revealed.
