In 2023, Janhvi reportedly reunited with her high school boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya and while she hasn’t gone on record confirming the relationship, there have been various sightings of the two together by the paparazzi. On Tuesday, Janhvi also took to Instagram Stories to wish him on his birthday and it was all the confirmation the fans ever needed.

Wishing her rumoured beau via Instagram on his birthday, Janhvi Kapoor shared an old picture of the two of them together and wrote, “Happy Birthday Shiku” accompanied by a red heart emoji. The Mili actor also shared a childhood picture of Shikhar and captioned it, “Hbd @shikharpahariya don’t be grumpy. “

Janhvi & Shikhar’s recent sightings together
Earlier this morning, the two were spotted seeking blessings at the famous Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh. In the video which has now gone viral on social media, Janhvi can be seen wearing a pink and green lehenga while Shikhar donned a white dhoti along with a red silk stole. They were accompanied by Janhvi’s younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, who looked gorgeous in a green lehenga.
This follows just days after Janhvi Kapoor served major fashion goals at the grand NMACC opening in Mumbai and Shikhar posed for the paparazzi with her dad Boney Kapoor!

Janhvi Kapoor & Shikhar Pahariya’s relationship timeline
If reports are to be believed, Shikhar Pahariya is Janhvi’s high school love. The two reportedly started dating when Janhvi was finishing her education at Mumbai’s Ecole Mondiale World School. Later, they were reported to have broken up when Janhvi moved to Los Angeles to finish college. After a couple of years, when the young star returned to Mumbai for her debut film Dhadak, she was linked to co-star Ishaan Khatter.
Janhvi and Shikhar are believed to have rekindled their love during Diwali last year when they made their first public appearance in Mumbai. And ever since, the two have been turning many heads with their paparazzi sightings and cute comments on each other’s Instagram posts, dishing out couple goals! On Koffee With Karan Season 7, Karan Johar almost confirmed the dating rumours, also hinting at rumours of Sara Ali Khan’s link-up with Veer Pahariya, Shikhar’s brother. During Janhvi’s appearance on the show with Sara, Karan said, “I mean it was the past. You both dated two brothers. And the commonality between the three of us is that they both used to live in my building.”
So who is Shikhar Pahariya?

Shikhar Pahariya hails from a political family in Maharashtra. He is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. As per his social media presence, he is also a polo player, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. According to India Today, he also worked as an investment analyst in a London-based firm before starting his own entertainment and gaming business in 2018.

During her debut in the film industry, Janhvi was rumoured to be dating her Dhadak’s co-star Ishaan Khatter but the two reportedly called it quits after a year.

Her name was also linked to Kartik Aaryan when they were shooting for Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2. However, neither Kartik nor Janhvi went on record to confirm the news. If the rumour mill is to be believed, the two called it quits after a few months, with Kartik Aaryan also making an exit from the film post an alleged fallout with Karan Johar.
