The handsome hunk of B-town, Ranbir Kapoor is currently enjoying his parenthood journey with his wife, Alia Bhatt and their daughter, Raha. The actor kickstarted the year 2023 with some energy as he was spotted promoting his film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, in full throttle. However, most of his interviews had questions about his life as a father and how his married life with Alia has been going. However, the actor has never said ‘No’ to any question related to his personal life and has always expressed his gratitude towards people for showering immense love on his daughter, Raha.

When Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his CA asking him to make his will

In 2022, Ranbir Kapoor sat down with Anupama Chopra for a candid interview on Film Companion and shared many things about his personal life. However, there was one thing that caught everyone’s attention, which was related to his will. The actor admitted that one fine day, his CA came to him and asked him to make his will, leaving him in shock.

At that point in time, Ranbir Kapoor’s actress-wife, Alia Bhatt was pregnant with their first child, Raha. The doting husband clearly stated that he wasn’t interested in worrying about his legacy in the Kapoor clan. The actor also emphasised that he was enjoying his wife, Alia’s pregnancy journey back then and wasn’t bothered about his will. Recalling the hilarious yet fearful incident that he had with his CA, Ranbir said:

“I think legacy is something you only realise when you are retiring. It’s too early for me to… I know my CA a couple of months back came to me, asking me, ‘Should we make a will?’ I was like, Will? I started getting fearful like am I going to die? Why should I make a will at this age?”

Further, in the same conversation, Ranbir Kapoor shared how he wasn’t thinking about making a will back then, and instead, he was fully focused on enjoying the memorable period of his wife’s pregnancy. The actor also added that he is the kind of person, who gets excited about the future and never worries about it. Reflecting on how positive and eager he was to spend life with his child, Ranbir admitted that he constantly thinks about it and couldn’t wait to live the same.

“So, the truth is, all these things you don’t think about. Right now I’m only thinking about the excitement of having a child, of living a life with the child, how I’m going to be, and what it’s going to be like.”

The actress had a C-section delivery, and the amazing news made Alia and Ranbir’s loved ones super-happy. The couple announced their daughter’s name eight days after her birth on November 24, 2022.
