YG Entertainment to launch new female K-pop group in 2023; see poster

South Korean managing label YG Entertainment has teased a new female pop group of seven members. On December 30, the agency debuted a poster with the title “YG NEXT MOVEMENT” along with the date January 1, 2023. The new group will be the agency’s first female group in seven years.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, YG Entertainment confirmed that the seven silhouettes in the poster are the members of the agency’s upcoming new female group. Details about the line-up and a definite debut date are yet to be released.

The news of the new group comes after several artists ended their contracts with YG Entertainment.
