Television actress, Charu Asopa has gone through a rough time off lately. Her relationship with her husband, Rajeev Sen became the talk of the town after the estranged couple publicly talked about problems in their marriage. For the unversed, the duo got married in the year 2019, and they are even blessed with a baby girl, Zianna Sen. Every now and then, Charu and Rajeev were seen throwing mud at each other with their accusations. However, now it seems happiness has knocked at Charu’s door as the actress is all set to make her comeback on TV. Recently, she talked about the same and revealed how she is feeling about it.
In an interview with ETimes, Charu Asopa opened up about making her acting comeback. Talking about the same, the actress expressed happiness over returning to the small screen. Charu even mentioned that she is quite nervous about restarting her work as, this time, she has Zianna in her life. Talking about how she will manage her personal and professional life, the Mere Angne Mein actress said:
“I can’t wait to be on the sets and from the time I’ve got to know that I have been finalised for this show I am very excited. Ek lamba gap hogaya hai, now I am excited to just be on the sets. I am very nervous not because of the work but about how I will manage everything. There’s now Ziana in my life and she will be at home. This will be the first time when I’ll be away shooting for so long. I know I’ve taken care of everything and managed everything but still back of the mind there’s a nervousness.”

In the same conversation, Charu even opened up about the struggles that she faced while returning to TV. Elaborating more about it, the actress said that initially, when she started auditioning for roles, people used to tell her that she had gained weight. Charu even stated that rather than getting disheartened, she took it as a challenge and worked on her body. The doting mommy revealed that now that people compliment her for getting back in shape, she feels confident.
Further, in the conversation, Charu revealed why it took her a long time to get back to work. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that in today’s time, the success ratio of television shows has fallen. And so, the roles that she had received were either not paying her well or were not good enough. Elaborating more on it, the actress said that she felt that if she is leaving her daughter at home for 12 hours, she should at least get something in her hand. Charu even mentioned that now, she doesn’t wish to do the typical rona dhona roles.

Charu and Rajeev’s relationship had hit rock bottom within a few months of their marriage. And since then, reports about their marital life have kept making rounds in the media. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, the actress had revealed that initially, she was suggested by her family to quit acting and start looking after her family. She even mentioned that since it was her second marriage, there was pressure on her to make this marriage work.
