Bollywood wives were all decked up for Karwa Chauth last night. From glamorous sarees to their unique jewellery designs, everything looked perfect! But what took our attention was their mehendi. As these celebs flaunted their mehendi, we noticed how all of them opted for minimal designs.

Bollywood celebrated Karwa Chauth 2024 with all the grandeur, with many stars sharing glimpses of their joyous moments. Several actresses including Kiara Advani, Rakul Preet Singh, Kriti Kharbanda, and Sonam Kapoor took to their social media handles to show off their mehendi designs for Karwa Chauth. Let’s look at their mehendi designs.
1. Sonam Kapoor
Sonam gave a glimpse of her mehendi in one of the photos she shared on her Instagram and thanked her mother, Sunita Kapoor, for helping with all the arrangements for the special day. Her mehendi was simple with mandala designs surrounded by small flowers and leaf patterns on the fingers. She also wrote her husband, Anand Ahuja’s name on one hand and son Vaayu’s name on the other.
2. Shilpa Shetty Kundra
The 90s diva opted for the minimal route too and got lotus designs made in the centre of her hand. She also applied mehendi on her feet and kept it simple as well. The design included a lotus inside a circle in the centre of her feet and three leaves made on her toes.
3. Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra flew to New Delhi to join her husband Raghav Chadha, and his family for the festivities. Like others, she also shared her minimalist mehendi design on her Instagram stories. The delicate patterns, featuring cute heart motifs on the back of her palms, captured the spirit of the occasion.
4. Kriti Kharbanda
On her first Karwa Chauth, Kriti took the minimal route and went for a beal mehendi design. Her cute mehendi featured small flowers and leaves.
5. Mira Kapoor
Mira flaunted her minimal mehendi with Shahid Kapoor’s initial written on her hands. Her mehendi was simple with a flower made in the centre.
6. Rakul Preet Singh
Just like Kriti, Rakul also celebrated her first Karwa Chauth this year. She celebrated the festival despite her back injury and shared romantic photos from the celebrations. The couple looked oh-so-in-love and we love it, don’t we? Talking about her Karwa Chauth mehendi, Rakul also kept it minimal with a small mandala in the centre of her hands.
