We contacted Amit Behl, General Secretary, CINTAA, who has vehemently denied this.

“No, there is no such issue. All this is mere heresay,” said Behl.

When pressed about the nature of the upcoming meeting, will it discuss Jariwala’s personal conflict, Behl replied, “No, this is a routine monthly Executive Committee meeting where we will primarily discuss on how to raise further funds for CINTAA, Cine Artistes Welfare Trust”.

The CINTAA General Secretary stressed that all matter pertaining to Jariwala’s personal conflict is already out in public domain, and there was nothing further to add to it. He wished that the controversial actor can come out innocent.

Following the allegations, Jariwala had to resign as Vice President of CINTAA, General Secretary of CAWT, and as member of the Executive Committee.
