Indian cricketer, Shardul Thakur entered marital bliss with the love of his life, Mittali Parulkar on February 27, 2023. Since then, he isn’t missing a chance to paint the town red with mushy glimpses from his wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies. Once again, he gave a sneak peek into his fun-filled haldi ceremony with his ladylove, Mittali. However, it was his then-bride-to-be’s ensemble which also caught our attention. For the unversed, the madly-in-love duo got engaged to each other in Mumbai on November 29, 2021.

Taking to his IG handle on March 2, 2023, Shardul Thakur shared stunning glimpses with his wife, Mittali Parulkar from the duo’s love-filled haldi ceremony. In the pictures, the duo was seen having a blast at their pre-wedding event, which spoke volumes about their fun. For the ceremony, Shardul looked handsome in a white-hued heavily embroidered kurta with sequin work paired with matching pants. On the other hand, Mittali stunned in a chikankari sharara set, including matching pants, a full-sleeved choli, a dupatta and a belt. In addition, she opted for kundan earrings, a matching maang teeka and white floral hathphools. Sharing them, Shardul wrote:
“Warm, simple and mellow, With 50 shades of yellow, A melting pot of different styles, Our haldi was full of smiles! #bringMiHomeThakur.”

Shardul Thakur tied the knot with Mittali Parulkar in a traditional wedding ceremony
Soon after their wedding, on February 27, 2023, Shardul Thakur had taken to his IG handle and shared a few unseen pictures with the love of his life, Mittali Parulkar. In the glimpses, the cricketer wore a heavily embroidered peach-hued bandhgala suit paired with matching pants and a cream-hued turban. On the other hand, Mittali looked breathtaking in a red-hued lehenga adorned with buti works and embroidery all over it. She paired it with a matching choli, a net dupatta and traditional jewellery. Alongside it, Shardul penned:
“I learnt to appreciate your light, when I encountered your shadow! In good times and in bad, in happy and sad, I promise to be your friend, from now till the end!”

Shardul and Mittali’s sangeet ceremony
On February 26, 2023, Shardul and Mittali had hosted a stunning sangeet ceremony for their friends and family. For the evening, Shardul wore a shimmery black pantsuit, and Mittali donned a silver embellished lehenga paired with a one-shoulder choli and dainty diamond jewellery. In addition, they were seen beautifully dancing to the song, Main Agar Kahoon at their sangeet function.
