Shah Rukh Khan Pathaan has annihilated all existing box office records on Day 2 (Thursday). The numbers that are coming are simply indescribable in words. It is shocking in a very pleasant way. These are dream numbers and the film will be the talk of the town as far as opening is concerned for the coming years and maybe decades.
Pathaan accumulated an insane 72 crore net approx from all languages on Thursday. Data are still pouring in and final numbers could vary a little. We simply can’t describe the collections as it is out of the world or maybe even out of this universe. We are simply short of adjectives.
Thus, Pathaan’s two day total now stands at a staggering 129 crore nett approx. It could go a little higher also as data are still pouring in. The film was simply out of this planet on single screens. Every single screen in India yesterday was jam-packed. Those who didn’t get tickets and forcefully entered the halls to watch the film have to seat on the ground to watch it. These scenes happened in the 80s and 90s only.
Pathaan reported 85-90% occupancy across India. This is unimaginable considering the film was released on huge 5600-5700 screens across India. Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang and it is just the start of 2023. He has two more films lined up in Jawan and Dunki and God knows what will be the opening of those films.
