South Korean pop group Tomorrow X Together, commonly known as TXT, broke their personal record with their upcoming fifth mini album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, on January 10, TXT’s album distributor YG PLUS officially announced that as of January 9, the group’s fifth mini album had surpassed 1.56 million stock pre-orders. The pop group set the mark surpassing their previous record of 1.47 million pre-orders earned by their last mini album minisode 2: Thursday’s Child in 2022.

The outlet notes: “The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.”
On December 15, TXT officially announced that they would be making their long-awaited return with the new mini album on January 27, 2023 at 2 p.m. KST. The album also marks the beginning of new series for the group following the conclusion of The Dream Chapter and The Chaos Chapter.
The band also released their logo teaser for the upcoming comeback. As noted by NME tabloid, the clip sees the logo from the ‘Thursday’s Child’ era contorted and transformed from black, red and beige into hues of green and pink. Interestingly, if you reverse the teaser, you’ll hear it says, “It’s so sweet but I should find my name.”
