Who made the MMS? What happened when they found out about all of it? Where on Earth is the Goa video? Well, you gotta book tickets right away to know all of this but the message, in the end, will definitely move you, it suggests how some intimate things must be kept that way.

Rating Score -> 1.5/5

On paper, the story seems to have a lot of potential to develop into a full-fledged comedy. Let me repeat. It had the potential, but Raj gets too ambitious by wanting to incorporate a little of everything. Result? It’s a bland khichdi with no aftertaste.

Rating Score -> 2.5/5

The film has a number of comedy scenes, which will compensate for the weak storyline. If you love watching comedy movies, then you might prefer this one. If you are looking for a fresh storyline in this film, then you will be disappointed.

Rating Score -> 1.5/5

But this film has no reason to exist in the 90s. It could be a film about a couple whose video goes viral on social media. But then, the makers felt hunting for a CD would make for a far more entertaining crowd pleaser with an absolute cringe reference to Rao’s own Stree. Also, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video never earns its nostalgic fragrance.

Rajkummar is the star of this universe and the fact that he is again named Vicky after his character in the popular Stree franchise shows a conscious attempt to build on the adventures of the boy next door who is too clever or cute by half. While Rajkummar keeps it natural, Tripti needs to process comic expressions better.

Rating Score -> 2/5

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video feels like a mix of Govinda-era slapstick, Ramsay Brothers’ horror, and a dash of Priyadarshan-style comedy. While kudos to Raaj Shaandilyaa for attempting something different, the execution falls short.

Rating Score -> 1/5

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is best left alone. It is a comedy that groans and croaks under the unbearable lightness of its unabashed silliness.

Rating Score -> 1.5/5

Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri’s sluggish film relies on too many cheap jokes. The comedy film has exactly five lines that make you chuckle.

What were the makers of VVKWWV actually thinking? That entire supernatural sequence is a disaster. I felt second hand embarrassment for everyone associated with this film at that point, because it doesn’t fit. I would have praised it had the VFX been decent.

Rating Score -> 1.5/5

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video has the eagerness of a standup comic. It is the sort of movie that feels obliged to make a joke before a sentence, between a sentence and after a sentence. Problem is the humour is not just pedestrian, it’s also plain unfunny.
